A: Our grant money has been used to replace our flat roof with a new low impact, long lifespan and thermally insulated flat roof material. . Helping us with our goal for continual improvement, development and to meet out environmental aspirations.
B: We have also installed a Honeywell evohome system which is a wireless multi zoning system centered on the evotouch eight zone controller. The system allows independent automatic temperature control of up to eight heating zones and one hot water. This has provided our tenants with independent control of their own offices space. Improving the efficiency of our heating and hot water system which is an effective way to reduce our energy consumption. Reducing our carbon footprint and saving us money on fuel bills.
In addition we were also successful obtaining a Greener Business Grant from St Edmundsbury Borough Council which helped with the cost of an LED lighting installation throughout the building.
